Once and For All

'Once and for All' is Christian Aid's dynamic presentation that unveils their transforming work in the poorest countries and their vision of 'Poverty Over.' This exciting multi media event shows what the world looks like through the eyes of the poorest people, and what each of us can do to help those in poverty out of poverty.

Cumbria Christian Learning

CCL is a charitable company formed by the Diocese of Carlisle to succeed the Lancashire and Cumbria Theological Partnership (LCTP) and support the ecumenical God for All project. It aims to provide local learning and training opportunities for everyone to live out their missional potential. Find out more here.

Ecumenical Course from Cumbria: Disciples Together

This is a course designed for all the Christian churches in Cumbria, promoted by 'Churches Together in Cumbria'.

The course focuses on “growing disciples of Jesus Christ”.

It provides materials for five meetings in a small group.

The course has been written for use in ecumenical groups during Lent but could also be used at any time of year.

Discovering Faith Matters

This ecumenical course has been devised in and for the people of Cumbria.The material can be used at any time of year, and is adaptable for a Lent study course, In the spirit of working together more closely, this material has been commended by our Church Leaders:

Bishop James, Anglican Bishop of Carlisle says: “I am very happy to commend ‘Discovering Faith Matters’ which has been written specially for people in a Cumbrian context and is particularly useful as a tool for ecumenical study as part of our growth into being an ecumenical county.”
Rev. Sarah Moore, Area President for the URC in Cumbria says: "I encourage all churches across our county to consider using and returning to 'Discovering Faith Matters'.  Its preparation offers us a practical way of sharing resources as we learn more about God together."

Group Study Material. Modules 1 & 2 (five sessions each) of an adult learning programme written by an ecumenical team in Cumbria exploring faith, spirituality and the bible.
