Launch of Micro-Grants for Church Social Action in Cumbria: 25th May PDF Print E-mail

CTiC is supporting this new Cinnamon Network initiative. Cumbria Constabulary are providing funding for micro-grants to enable Cumbrian churches to run a Cinnamon Recognised social action project. The Police & Crime Commissioner will be one of the speakers at the launch event: 11am-1pm; Police HQ, Carleton Hall, Carleton Ave, Penrith, CA10 2AU. Refreshments provided. Service for Dementia Awareness Week: 25th May PDF Print E-mail

This special service in recognition of Dementia Awareness Week will be led by the Revd Lucie Lunn, Vice Chair of CTiC's Dementia Reference Group, and the preacher will be the Revd Tony Taylor, Dementia Enabler for the Upper Eden Baptist Church and a member of the Reference Group. 11am; Carlisle Cathedral. Domestic Abuse Awareness Training for Churches: 13th June PDF Print E-mail

The CTiC training programme in domestic abuse awareness has already reached at least half the churches in our county. We would like it to reach all churches. CTiC's annual Celebrating Together event will focus on gender and theology in the year that marks the 100th anniversary of the first ordination of a woman in Britain.
